At LIFE-SINES, we strive to be number one in healthcare life support education in California. We offer courses that will aid you in becoming the best you can be, including classes in neonatal, infant, child, and adult CPR, as well as airway management and ECG/pharmacology. All classes are taught and conducted according to the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. They each consist of a DVD/CD session, skills testing, and a written exam.
MOBILE CPR TRAINING
For your convenience, we will come to you. A minimum of two students is required to have a mobile class at your facility or home. Please schedule a class two to three days in advance. In some cases, next-day scheduling is available.
NRP – 7TH EDITION
Below is the process for registering for the NRP renewal course:
- Go to the American Academy of Pediatrics website.
- On the right-hand side, mid-page, click on "NRP LMS Login" under "Quick Links."
- Create your account/register for the 7th edition NRP renewal course.
- Look for the instructor box and enter "Mack Carter."
- Look at the schedule and pick a date for the skills training.
- Complete parts 1 and 2.
- After completing parts 1 and 2, register on our website for the NRP skills testing course.
- Please submit your registration and the 7th edition NRP certificate.
- Upon receiving your skills registration and completion certificate, the class will be set up and checked off, and an e-card will be emailed to you.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUS)
The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) no longer accepts full CEU credits for certifications. You will receive five CEUs maximum cumulatively for all recertification courses. In other words, if you earned eight CEUs from each course (ACLS, PALS, and NRP), equaling 24 CEUs, you will be credited for only five CEUs. That will leave you with a 19 CEU deficit.
